What ages can attend BGCY Learning Academy clinics?
Our clinics are grouped by age band, generally from five to sixteen years old, and the exact range is listed on each clinic. Children are placed by age and ability so that sessions stay safe and useful for everyone taking part.
What should my child bring and wear to a session?
Comfortable sportswear, trainers suitable for the surface, a filled water bottle and any personal medication such as an inhaler. We provide all the equipment needed for the session, so you do not need to buy kit before your first visit.
How much does a clinic place cost and what does it include?
Prices vary by venue and the number of sessions in a block, and the full cost is confirmed before you pay. The fee covers coaching, venue hire and equipment; it does not cover travel, personal kit or any optional extras.
How do I cancel or move my child to another session?
Contact us through the enquiries page with your booking details and we will tell you what is possible for that clinic. Refunds and transfers depend on how much notice you give, so please let us know as early as you can.
Are your coaches checked and qualified to work with children?
Yes. Our coaches hold relevant coaching qualifications and current safeguarding training, and they are checked under the appropriate scheme before working with young people. A designated safeguarding lead is present at every clinic.
Can parents stay and watch the session?
You are welcome to stay and watch from the side of the area. If you prefer to drop off, please arrive promptly for collection, and make sure the contact number on your booking is one we can reach during the session.
