Who we are
Coaching clinics built around young people and the sports they love
BGCY Learning Academy runs youth sports coaching clinics for children and teenagers who want to learn a sport properly, in a setting that takes their safety and their progress equally seriously. We work with schools, clubs and families to put on sessions that are well organised, well staffed and genuinely enjoyable for the young people who take part. Every clinic is planned around the age and experience of the group in front of us.
The academy is operated by BGCY EVENTS LIMITED, a registered company that handles the bookings, staffing and safeguarding arrangements behind each programme. That structure matters, because it means the coaching on the day sits on top of proper administration: qualified coaches, clear ratios, risk assessments and a named contact for parents who need to reach someone quickly.
Our clinics cover the fundamentals of a sport and the habits that sit alongside it. Young people learn technique, but they also learn how to warm up and cool down, how to work with others in a team, and how to handle a session that does not go their way. Coaches give clear feedback, keep groups moving, and make sure nobody is left standing at the side wondering what to do next.
We run sessions during school holidays and at weekends, and we can put together programmes for a school or club that wants coaching delivered on its own site. Groups are kept small enough for coaches to give each young person proper attention. If you are unsure which clinic suits your child, tell us their age and what they have done before, and we will point you towards the right one.
If you would like to know more about a particular clinic, ask about availability, or discuss a programme for your organisation, this is the place to start. Send us the detail through the form on this page and we will come back to you with the information you need to make a decision.
